Seed to Strain is a MERRY JANE original series that spotlights the behind-the-scenes people and worlds of growing cannabis. From interviews with employees of testing labs to those in charge of genetically manufacturing marijuana seeds, Seed to Strain offers the unique opportunity for viewers to be fully submerged in the often hidden aspect of cannabis grows.
In the premiere episode, viewers meet Nick from Boomspharm Collective, developer of the marijuana strain, AC/DC. AC/DC is a unique strain as it comes from a hemp plant that contains 0% THC and made up of all CBD. Because of this, people who use AC/DC will not experience any of the psychoactive side effects that are created by THC. With strains like AC/DC, patients are able to utilize cannabis in their treatments without the worry of feeling like they will experience mind-altering, psychoactive effects.
