If you partake in cannabis then inevitably you have a story about something funny that happened when you were stoned.

But just as some people can't hold their liquor, others get freaked out by their elevated state.

Whether these people were stoned or not, their stories might give you a good laugh after sparking a joint:

Police Officer calls 911 after marijuana brownie “overdose”

This gem is legendary in the stoner community. This police officer is pleading to be rescued after consuming one too many pot brownies. Even the news reporter seems to get a chuckle out of this one.

Man tries to pay for meal with pot

Low on funds but so stoned with the munchies, Alexander Pannullo, went to a local McDonald’s drive-thru and offered to pay for his meal with marijuana. Unfortunately, the cashier called the County Sheriff’s Office and reported the incident to a deputy who later spotted the vehicle and arrested Pannullo. No word on whether this man was able to pay for his happy meal with his cannabis stash.

Cannabis law reform campaigners light one up during protest and get arrested

Four stoners were arrested after sparking one up during their 4:20 p.m. cannabis law reform protest at a New Zealand park recently. A group of 20 protesters met at the park while four stoners decided it was best to spark up when an officer decided to read the remaining group a Bill of Rights warning and searched them under the Misuse of Drugs Act and allegedly found cannabis possessed by some protesters leading to their arrests.

Man asks bailiff to watch his pot

A man named Stephen West from a small town in England called Wigan was appearing in court for an alleged breach of license conditions, when he pulled out a lump of hash, which surprised the security staff, and proceeded to ask what he should do with the hash. The guard told West he could leave his stash with him and watched in amazement as West obliged, signing his name on a receipt admitting the hash was his. Little did he know that he would later be found guilty to possession of the Class C drug and fined.

Stoner transporters who called cops on themselves

Leland Ayala-Doliente, 22, and Holland Sward, 23, were traveling from Las Vegas to Bozeman, Montana, with 20-pounds of marijuana but once they arrived in Idaho they got so stoned and paranoid that they thought undercover cops were after them. They proceeded to call the police and let them know that they needed to stop following them and just arrest them immediately. Ayala-Doliente went on to also say when calling the police, “Hi, uh, we’re the two dumb asses that got caught trying to bring some stuff through your border and all your cops are just driving around us like a bunch of jack wagons and I’d just like for you guys to end it. If you could help me out with that, we would like to just get on with it.”
