With rumors swirling that Brad and Angelina's split was due to his love for Mary Jane, any habitual cannabis user knows it can be difficult finding smoke buddies you can mesh with, especially in a romantic way.
Social dating apps like “High There!” and “420 Mate” have been built to connect like minded cannabis users and advocates with one another, but finding your stoner soulmate is no easy task. With social stigmas still in existence, it can be even harder for cannabis users to find someone that they can connect and bond with.
Enter Molly Peckler a cannabis friendly life coach and dating expert. Peckler has launched an event coming to select cities aimed at linking you with a smoking partner to spend the rest of your wake and bakes with.
The inaugural Cannabis Singles Speakeasy event is taking place at The Green Street Agency in Los Angeles Wednesday, September 21.
Needless to say, you definitely won't have to worry about whether or not you should smoke on your first date at this cannabis-centric singles mixer.
The exclusive event will bring together 10 men and 10 women who are all single and looking for a committed relationship. Peckler will kick the night off with a workshop to help build the tools you need to confidently connect with others, as well as quickly analyze whether or not someone would be a compatible partner for you. After the workshop, single stoners will use their new ice-breaker tricks at an after-party mixer.
“I’m so excited to be hosting the Singles Speakeasy, a Cannabis Friendly Dating Workshop and Singles Mixer,” said Peckler, the CEO and founder of Highly Devoted. “It’s going to be a sophisticated cannabis consumption event, highlighting the intersection of love, dating and cannabis."
Guests will also have tasty treats from The Herbal Chef, while the Presto Doctor will be answering cannabis-related questions from the guest throughout the night, making it an altogether informative and evocative event, one that you just might find your soulmate at. For all of you Colorado-based love seekers, Peckler will also be hosting a similar singles mixer event in Denver on October 19.
