Soulja Boy may be many things, amongst them a rapper, Internet sensation, trendsetter, and overall lord of swag. But one thing he is not is a tasteful footwear designer. His signature sneaker line, S.Beezy Lights, is full of kicks that are obvious knockoffs of more popular sneakers. The only difference is that the midsoles on the S.Beezy’s light up (a trend best left in the ‘90s).
The latest S.Beezy Lights set to release soon are an exact replica of the popular adidas NMD silhouette. Soulja Boy’s iteration features all of the details exclusive to the NMD: the black knit upper, blue and red tabs on the midsole, and even the white sole. The sole difference is that the bottoms light up so you can literally turn your swag on.
Whether he’s trolling or not remains to be seen, but Soulja gets a serious SMH for trying to drop a second-rate imitation of the adidas kicks. However, if you’re in the market for sneakers that are actually lit, hit up the S.Beezy Lights online shop.
